Hello, I'm Cluny Grey; I hope that you enjoy my website. I have been obssessed with jewelry as long as I can remember. I started drawing jewelry when I was a teenager, dreaming of the jewelry that I wanted to own someday. But after graduate school and 2 graduate degrees, I embarked on an academic career, reared my son, and began to travel. On these travels to Egypt, India, Brazil, Greece, I found myself buying jewelry, wanting more than I could possibly wear, then buying stones and finally beads. After designing pieces and having my local jeweler set my stones for me, I decided to start making my own jewelry. I quit teaching in 2003 and now travel whenever I can; and when I can't, I'm at home with my husband and cats, making jewelry, writing The Jewelry Blog and scouring the internet for the best stones and beads I can find!
